ADOLESCENTS - UNDER 18:

Your child is entitled to free dental care whilst they are at secondary school until they turn 18.

The services funded for adolescent dental care is limited, we need prior approval for some services but regular once year checkups are covered. At SynergyDENTAL we provide annual hygiene care FREE under this scheme to all our young adults as we believe prevention and education will give our young people the best possible start.

PRE-TEENS -UNDER 12:

Your child is also entitled to free dental care from their first birthday, enrolling them with the Community Oral Health Service is usually automatic through WELL CHILD so they can identify any problems early and correct them.

School dental therapists provide a great service and often refer children to us for more complicated procedures. Treatment for children at SynergyDENTAL is only free if you have been referred by a dental therapist or the treatment cannot be done by a dental therapist.

You may choose to have your child’s dental care done exclusively at SynergyDENTAL. This option suits parents who understand the value of continuity of dental care.
